Gluten is one of the most common parts of food, and it can even be found in somewhat unexpected areas such as in soy sauce. It has been used as a common thickener, and some find it most commonly in cereal grains, wheat, rye, and barley. There are some restaurants that have entire menus of gluten free foods now due to the prevalence of Celiac disease. But you still have to be somewhat careful.
Even if you do not have something as severe as Celiac disease, even a slight allergy to gluten, which is actually rather common, can negatively impact your life. With any gluten intolerance, many have experienced more frequent and more severe cases of eczema. Due to allergic reactions and various other factors, there are many who will experience more eczema breakouts because of their consumption of gluten based products or foods that have even a little bit of gluten in them.
